this is Eczema of the face. sorry for all the munchy noises but its the only time i could get her to stay still enough to film her face. the redness also has small blisters that sometimes weep its hard to see the texture on the film.

I see children like yours with it, and I feel so much for them…it really effects them, often parents don’t understand quite how much. I’m happy to hear ur prepared if it’s not a short term thing and not ignoring it-my parents did and it was horrible.

Good news is, the chances are higher that your baby won’t suffer with eczema as she gets older. From what I read, when they get it real young like that…it tends to go away. My niece had it on her face as well around that age, and she hasn’t had it since.
However, I got it when I was a bit older [7ish] and a lot more severe. Now [33] I have chronic eczema and I have the worse case of it ever. I can’t sleep, literally. I’m depressed and feel helpless b/c NOTHING is working.

Im sorry! Its is really painful. See your doctor and they have creams that they can prescribe you! Also try Aveeno hydrocortisone 2.0 cream or any thing with hydrocortisone in it that may help. Your dr will help the most sometimes allergy meds help too. Good luck!

Your baby is really cute. my baby has eczema as well. i see your baby doesn’t have that much eczema on her arms, what do you use on her body to controll it? my baby gets it really bad on her cheeks, arm folds, and legs. i feel really bad because i see her itching and there is nothing i can do to make the eczema much better because she is only 8 months.

When I asked my mum about my eczema as a baby she said it was all around my mouth like Malories. She is so cute, I just wanted to reach in the screen and give her a big hug and kiss those chubby cheeks (is that wrong to say that?) anyway you know what I mean.
