Hemorrhoid Treatment Options

Hemorrhoids and their painful symptoms can be treated with certain types of foods beyond the consumption of a regular hemorrhoids diet. Onion or garlic can help lessen swelling and eradicate bacteria. Peel the off the onion or garlic’s outer layer and put it directly into the rectum. This helps get rid of fecal matter, bacteria and reduces soreness. If your hemorrhoids are bleeding, do not use this form of treatment.

Another choice is lemon juice. Leave the peel on and cut the lemon equally into four pieces. Place the lemons you’ve just cut in a liter of water and boil for around 15 minutes. Drinking one cup of the lemon blend everyday will help soften the stool and avoid constipation. In addition, the juice builds up the blood vessels and capillary vessels.

Another unconventional method is potato suppositories. Skin the potato and cut it into little, cone-shaped pieces. Just as you would insert a suppository, insert the potato pieces three times, weekly. Doing this will diminish pain and help the bowels move better.
