Good video, but you … Good video, but you want to make sure your skin care routine is simple. The cetaphil is good, but I used it once and thought it was wayy to harsh for the skin. it burned my eyes and wasn’t for me. I agree with some of the other comments about witch hazel, stick to the neutrogena toner i like to use that product. Last but not least, you are using too much moisturizer which defeats the purpose of all the work u just did, use a nickel or dime size amount for your whole face and it IS def enough.

Awesome Job!! … Awesome Job!! Before you cleanse your face, be sure to wet your face. If you start putting on chemicals before wetting it, it sorta “scares your face.” If you look on back of all cleansers, it says wet face first. (:
Kai, I really think … Kai, I really think you need to overhaul your routine. The Cetaphil is okay, but witch hazel is far too harsh to use as a toner. It has a lot of tannins and alcohol in it, which act as sensitizers and irritants. The LUSH Ocean Salt uses salt and irritating essential oils with too much fragrance; the St. Ives is too harsh. I like to use Olay Daily Facials, plain rose water as a toner, Clinique 7 Day Scrub Cream, and Good Skin All Bright cream (from Kohl’s).
good video. i do … good video. i do agree though that with the moisturizer it may be a little to much, that may be a part of why you’ve got breakouts as well, because the skin can’t breath as well if there’s a ton of product on there,
but good video .

Lush is good, but … Lush is good, but some of the ingredients are essential oils and colorants that can be quite harmful to the skin. If you like natural products Alba Botanica is a FANTASTIC natural line.
Sometimes I like to … Sometimes I like to squirt a creamy foaming cleanser like Neutrogena Visibly Even on an Olay Daily Facial for my skin type; it really gets all the dead skin and dirt and oil off really well.
When you are using the toner, try to do your neck last. That way all the oils and stuff won’t go on your face.
I’m not sure how accurate that is, but I’ve heard/read it and I do it and it helps.

you should use … you should use Aquaphor cream on your dry spot. like a pea size or smaller on your dry spots. do it at night cause it takes awhile to go in your skin. and i swear, the next day, the dry spot is gone! my dermatologist recommended to me. use it on any part of your body that is dry. even your lips.

What I would … What I would recomend you to try is natural treatments. Since I avoided chemical products my skin is waaaay better, and I have sensitive and acne prone skin.
Now I use “Angels on bare skin” by Lush, Tea Tree toner also by Lush, and as a moisturizer I use 100% pure aloe vera which helps a lot to kill bacteria which causes acne, and is one of the most powerful moisturizers. When I need extra moisturizing I use pure jojoba oil or coconut oil. Believe me, I REALLY recommend this to you!!
ii dont know how … ii dont know how you feel about birth control but i had severe acne proactiv worked for a while and clinique than everything else but no matter what my skin got used to what i was doing more like immuned. you should really consider birth control ive been on it for about a year and havent had a real pimple since.

Comment by princesscarmen16 — October 16, 2009 @ 1:43 pm
I think the same, … I think the same, you’re using way to much product, also way to much for realy dry skin. If you take for months and years to much of this cremes, your skin looses the capapility to moisture herself. 1-2 pumps in your fingers and then apply it on your enterly face – and thats it and has to be enough! (sorry for my bad english its not my language but I’m sure you understand what i mean)
Hi! Great vid. I … Hi! Great vid. I agree with the people below though — I think you’re putting too much moisturizer on. That can definitely clog your pores, even if your face feels super dry, a little bit is all you need for your skin to absorb
whats the wich … whats the wich hazel for? Have you talked to your dermat. about the products you use? It seems like you use to many products on your face. Washing to often & using to many products can actually harm your skin. I use the proactive kit $45…face wash, toner and lotion. The kit lasts me 2 1/2 months. If I get spots I will use clean and clear spot treatment $6. Since you still have acne I think you should try a diff product or cut back on ones u use.
Great vid 5*
